Do you know how much money is spent on dieting supplements each year? It’s huge!

In total, it’s sixty billion dollars. Think about the magnitude of this number! My goodness!

This shows you two things. First, a huge amount of people around the globe are trying to lose weight. Next, these people are so anxious to lose weight that they don’t mind spending their money as a way to try to get faster results.

Sadly, a great deal of these products are outright scams. Usually these “scams” come in one of two forms. Either the pill or program just doesn’t work, or the price of the product is priced far above where it should be.

For example, I was looking through Costco the other night and saw a diet pill that was selling for $69.99. It had a fancy label, stellar packaging and all kinds of promises about the results it can deliver.

Was was it? Nothing more than green tea extract pills……

Ok – green tea extract is thought to be somewhat helpful in the fight against weight loss, but there’s no way these pills are worth $70.

Actually, I was able to find a bottle of supplements with the IDENTICAL ingredients, but it was just being marketed as green tea extract and not as a miracle weight loss pill.

How much was this one? A giant $6.99.

Sadly, the people selling the expensive pills is simply taking advantage of people’s vunerability and pushing their product with aggressive marketing. And unfortunately, there’s a lot of buyers.

And trust me, this pill alone will never give you a big jump in your weight loss plans. It might help a touch, but it definately isn’t a miracle pill.

The best diet pills or best weight loss supplements won’t just have one ingredient. Look for a product that contains a good number of different ingredients or herbs. This provides you a variety of tools that it can use to drop the weight off.

I should mention, I don’t want you to read this and think that no pill is worth $69.99. In fact, there are some great diet pills that are in this price range. However,But I promise you that the good ones don’t just have one ingredient in them.
